Artist Statement
I work mostly in Acrylic and mixed media. Lately I am experimenting with collage, composing sharp cutting lines with certain objects, figures, or just colored parts of magazines over a plain background. My intention is to add a surreal edge to my collages. I like to consider each work of mine as an echo- a paradoxical persuasion that haunts me internally. Any type of questions that intrigues my thoughts waves are accumulated in subtle layers of ideas. I express the ongoing energy and dialogue that revolves around me in every day life. While creating collages, I consider the evoked memories and emotions I have been feeling over the years.
